Need assistance in Elkhart Lake–Glenbeulah? ElkhartCares offers confidential support with school needs, housing, food, utilities, and more.

We know every situation is different. That’s why we offer several application forms—so you can get the right help, right away. You can either:

🖊 Print and fill out the application by hand (print at home or at the Elkhart Lake Public Library)
💻 Fill out the form digitally (it’s a fillable PDF) and email it back to us

If printing is difficult, the Public Library can help — or simply contact us and we will happily mail you an application along with a pre-addressed return envelope.

We understand that life can be unpredictable—and asking for help isn’t always easy. At ElkhartCares, we’re here to walk beside you with respect, confidentiality, and support tailored to your needs.

If your family lives within the Elkhart Lake–Glenbeulah School District boundaries, attends school in the district, or works within the district, you may qualify for support.

Individual or Family Assistance

What We Can Help With

We offer limited, need-based assistance in areas such as:

Emergency utility or rent support
School supplies and back-to-school items
Transportation assistance (fuel support, car repairs)
Clothing, winter gear, and hygiene products
Holiday meals and gift support
Childcare or educational expenses
Unexpected family emergencies

If you’re unsure whether your need qualifies, we still encourage you to reach out—we’re here to listen.

Scholarships & Student Support

We provide flexible, need-based support to help students participate fully in school, activities, and post-secondary opportunities.

We fund:

Educational Advancement

Technical college or trade school tuition
Dual-credit or college courses
School and testing fees (ACT, SAT, certifications)

Extracurricular Activities

Music lessons or instrument rental
Sports fees, uniforms, cleats, equipment
Theater, art, or summer enrichment programs

Participation Access

Field trip fees
Club dues or academic competition costs
Transportation support when cost is a barrier

If a financial hurdle is preventing a student from participating or pursuing their passion—we want to help lift it.

Who Can Apply:

Students or parents/guardians
Teachers, coaches, or school staff (on behalf of a student)
Applicants must either attend school in or reside within the boundaries of the Elkhart Lake–Glenbeulah School District.

Teacher & School Grants

We trust teachers to know their students’ needs. ElkhartCares offers fast, flexible grants to educators and staff in the Elkhart Lake–Glenbeulah School District.
